WiaKuKu.. Su Do KU!

Finally, A good swell! with the right winds! had a SE swell of 2-31\2ft with SW winds. Spent a good 4 hours out in the chilly water (New record for a winter surf), but with our new sponsered CoastLines Wetsuits we could hold out. "High Five"

Small perfection...

Fun day with three team members, Greg was sadly lost in action. Spent a few hours crusing along these waves also swaping boards. I think we were all physically peaked after 3 solid days of surf. Fair Dinkies!

Mega Retro Skater, Montage

Speechless.... I caught this Mega Retro Skater carving the hills, Just had to get him on Film..

It's too bad that You Tube Pixelates the montage to Death.. Dosn't do the Retro Skater any justice.

Dog Town Christchurch Boy.
The sun was touching the tips of the hills with little sunlight to go. As i was cruising on my scooter I passed this secluded Skate Area aka Secret Spot! I gently pulled over to the side when i saw one hell of a Z-Boy carving up the concrete of this wonderland! His hair Flew in each precis movement ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I had to snap a few!

Introducing B-rad Z-Boy... In one elegant carve his hair flew like the Z-Boy he is!.

The Look that captured the moment!

B-Rad Z-Boy doing the Original "Dj Styla" His class took over the area as the Sunlight hit the Mega Retro Skater!

As i was leaving i glanced back to give this Dog Town Christchurch Boy one more look.. As i did this moment captured how much the Mega Retro 70's Skater respected the land that he carved up! Live on b-rad Z-Boy Until next Time!

#2. Take off Right..

#3. Sneaking in barrel Position..

#4. B-Rad about to smash the washy lip..

B-rad and I made our way up on Sunday for a Random Trip to Gore Bay for couple of nights. For the 3 days we were there we had The Bay to ourselves and very sunny days i might add, unfortunately it wasn't pumping but we managed to get some good glassy morning surf's with fast 2ft waves breaking on finger tip water. "Solid"

"Switch Foot".. The Brad Movie COMING SOON.
- Footage B-rad carving it up at Gore Bay.
kaikoura Explorer

Kaikoura has got some A-Grade breaks within it's coastline. We made a one day trip up from Gore Bay to check out the classy breaks, there wasn't that much swell running around but we knew there would be a little glassy wave at Mangamanu. This wave breaks on boulders and can form an high class break, even though we didn't get it with a good swell or swell direction you could imagine what a wave it can be.

Another spot we explored was Oaro, not one of the well known spots within the coastline but with the swell it had a Small wave breaking. Every spot we checked you could see the potential.
Great trip with the Gore Bay team (Minus 2).

T-Bay Bonanza

T-Bay Bonanza! Yes another great trip up to T-Bay. B-Rad and I made our way up sometime in the week and were welcomed to T-Bay by 3-4ft with the odd 5ft!! Had the bay all to our self's for 3hours and made the most of it. Water temp this time was much nicer and felt like a warm 16 degrees.. luxury to us!! Sooo many waves were caught and we were Happy as Larry!

TowIN Sessions

Greg! The styla of the team.. brought speed and style to the Tows and had some mind thrilling wipe outs as well. Greg also payed cheap! and i think it's just a rumor but we are pretty sure he went around the whole camp!! Good times with G-Stop-Blues.

Brett! The rider who could try anything and pull anything off for the first time! Also some great speed and *Wicked* turns. Epic company with the B-Rett, once camp DAD but was taken from him this time up to the great BAY. Dramatisation!

Brad, Also known as B-Love especially to Greg! B-Rad brought to the stage some Epic turns that could burn a hole in Blair's favorite pillow! also as well as Greg some Pain feeling Falls! Always a pleasure with the B-Rad.... especially for Greg!

Then to the only guy who would find dry sand his favourite friend! Myself... Well I wise man once said to me (Blair) that for 50cents you could have much enjoyment. Luckily for me i was all out off money!! What a great bonus when the surf is down and all thanks to the Team members of Gore Bay!! You know who you are.

Waikuku Flash

A couple of shots form the sands of Waikuku. Waikuku best known for it's sand dune epicness but we were there to get some surfing in before the light hid behind the dunes. Brad, Prisk'O and myself made our way up North to be joined by 2ft light offshore winds that waves were breaking on finger tip water. Just wondering what our casual surfing mate Prisk'O is doing to Brad why he isn't looking??? Caught!
Highlight Reel - Fiji Flash!

Fiji, the word still sinks into my mind and I still can't get over the great times that we encountered during our Epic!! ten days at this awesome isolated island.
In showing these nine photo's that I gathered out of about 270 that I manage to take during B- Rad's and my time over there are only about 1/50Th of the things that we saw and took part in.

As B- Rad and I flew over to the island in this little screws lose 6 seater plane that's engine was about as loud as when B- Rad and myself encountered a Sea Snake. We saw amazing reef shots from this plane and the landing was as amazing as i can't believe that we made it.
After 10! days of Fiji we didn't want to leave. And who would after jumping of wharfs and meeting locals that could only say one word of English.. Fishy, Fishy, Fishy! repeated many times during our time then and our time now!! Also snorkeling into water's with 25 degree's. Seeing all different Fishy, Fishy, Fishy's. You sure can't sum this Fiji trip up in a few words!! To many Epic things!

Fiji brought out all our hunting skills as we salvage for food by day but were treated to luxury 3 course meals by night!! We cut up this coconut our own way with a half blunt kitchen knife. We were sweating by the time we finish this mission!

Fishy, Fishy, Fishy! With my underwater/Out of water camera I Flashed heaps of fish/coral shots. We were visited by a BIG A** blue starfish and some awesome Manterays! And many other colourful Fishes.

Sadly during our trip we didn't surf for a huge 10 days! and to Brad and myself that is like a whole life time without surfing. We were starving!! for some waves that's why i took a few pic's of this left hand point Break, hollow and glassy conditions. Why weren't we out there??

Last but surly not least, the local that kept appearing at the door to give us this loneliness look of hunger! We kept the dog happy with some great snacks. Fiji, The word still sinks into your minds.

Creaky Knee Tour

We gathered our surf boards for another Surf Search. We ended up looking at this left hand rock point break that was breaking at 2-3ft with glassy conditions. We toured around a couple of other bays around this area but were all mind surfing this Point Break.

I was joined by the usual team for this tour. But for some reason Greg was not looking for any photo shoots. Great creaky knee tour!

Gore Bay - All Year Round!

Solid 4-5ft Waves coming through. Moderate Nw offshore. Gore Bay always gives us what we want to see. But still a brain freezing 9 degrees.

Another unbeatable trip up to the only bay that makes us look good. G - Bay, This time it was a Mid winter trip B- Rad and I were on. A weekend to be taken and we took it. Great solid waves for the two glorious days we were up there. Just can't stay away from this wonderland.

Labour Day GORE BAY!

Labour Day was happy enough to give the few of us who made the trip up there with another 2-3ft offshore winds.

Stretching had to be done! Brett's Squat, Greg's Bend over and Brad's casual.

Duck Diving! To bad B- Rad wasn't in the right spot. Another day off 2-3ft offshore winds.

Next Sequence.

Cloudy Day, But the water was much nicer this time with a HOT! 15 degrees. Fun waves. And good camping times with the G- Bay team.
