Kaikoura has got some A-Grade breaks within it's coastline. We made a one day trip up from Gore Bay to check out the classy breaks, there wasn't that much swell running around but we knew there would be a little glassy wave at Mangamanu. This wave breaks on boulders and can form an high class break, even though we didn't get it with a good swell or swell direction you could imagine what a wave it can be.
Another spot we explored was Oaro, not one of the well known spots within the coastline but with the swell it had a Small wave breaking. Every spot we checked you could see the potential.
Great trip with the Gore Bay team (Minus 2).

G-Dog!! Yes we did miss the two members for the Gore Bay Trip, it just wasn't the same waking up to only one of the team members :(
